Christmas 2024

Ho ho ho,

My Christmas this year was quite eventful and intense. I got lots of decoration at home that I didn’t plan for, but it was all to make my home cozy :) This time I caught up with the advent calendar. So I lit candles every Sunday and watched Julkalender on TV. It was just fun to embrace the culture for a bit.

Earlier this month, there were a couple of events at Afry-Luciatåg and After-ski Christmas party at the office. Lots of dancing and drinking. It was pretty nice and fun to celebrate with my colleagues during the dark and cold period of the year.

Steven also came all the way from Stockholm to visit me during the Lucia weekend. We went to Liseberg for the Christmas market and got to see Luciatåg at Moreno Pizza in the evening.

This year I went to celebrate Christmas’s eve with the Karlsson family in Stockholm again. Everyone were well and fine. There were many guests this year. The kids grew up a bit so there was not so much drama in the house. I spent hours playing Magic card game (first time and needed to learn more!), Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros with the kids and Kasper. It was super fun. I was so looking forward to meeting them again!

Last but not leas, Ludwig, Steven and I had dinner on the last day of my Stockholm trip. We went to eat American-Mexican food at The Streetfood Labs. Lots of tacos, cheeses, and talking. I was pretty full and content. (It was pretty dark in the restaurant and they only used red/purple lights. So my photos were just red/purple-ish…)
